  • Perform GL account reviews for reasonability and accurate allocations
  • Reconcile Canadian investment accounts and track tax-reporting data for capital assets
  • Respond to CRA or tax authority inquiries regarding assessments and client accounts
  • Draft technical memos with preliminary conclusions using appropriate accounting or tax standards
  • Assist with client-side cash flow projections and budget-to-actual analysis
  • Present data clearly using Excel, Word, CaseWare/CaseView, and iFirm
  • Manage multiple projects and engagement timelines simultaneously
  • Maintain continuous communication with Managers/Partners and flag issues, delays, or risks proactively
  • Follow up persistently on outstanding items and client queries until resolution
  • Support ad hoc and internal file requests, including working paper cleanups, special projects, or financial analysis

Accountability and Contribution to Firm Growth:

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of personal accountability by owning your outcomes and maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Be proactive in identifying inefficiencies, recurring issues, or process gaps in your own work or across the firm
  • Provide constructive feedback to the management group, offering suggestions to improve workflow, client service, or internal systems
  • Assist with documentation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) based on real workflow gaps
  • Actively participate in firm-wide improvement initiatives even when they fall outside your direct responsibilities
  • Embrace a culture of openness, learning, and operational enhancement, your insights are expected, not optional
